Grab a blanket, picnic under the stars, and watch a great film selection inspired by AVAM's current exhibition. The Hughes Family Outdoor Theater features seating for more than a thousand on the natural amphitheater formed by Federal Hill; a 30-foot wide screen held from above by Adam Kurtzman's Giant Golden Hand; a twinkling view of the city; and an amazing, all-ages, community experience that is FREE! AVAM's #Flicks series was listed by Travel + Leisure Magazine as one of the "World's Best Free Things," and won City Paper's 2014 Best of Baltimore award for "Best Rain or Shine Event." And don't forget: the museum is OPEN & FREE between 5pm and 9pm on Flicks nights!
