Renowned Thangka painting artist, Nada Stone (who has studied with Himalayan masters for over 25 years) will lead workshop participants of all skill levels on a journey of discovery. Through studying and drawing sacred images, participants will begin to develop a sense of inner calm and concentration. The ancient symbols consist of eight auspicious signs that have been developed for centuries in Buddhist art. These signs are known to help achieve a sense of good luck, but also harmony, happiness and inner freedom. Spend a relaxing afternoon at the American Visionary Art Museum, learning more about this ancient art and finding a reprieve from the winter blues.
