Dame Anita Roddick Love Barn, Exterior

The neon LOVE sign lights up our Dame Anita Roddick Tall Sculpture Barn. The historic building sits adjacent to our Jim Rouse Visionary Center, which has its own neon lettering: "O Say You Can See." The phrase refers to the first line of the U.S. national anthem and to our neighbor, Fort McHenry, where Francis Scott Key wrote those words. Together, the neon signs read "O Say Can You See...Love," to allude that the best things in life aren't visible at all.
