About the Event
Join the Baltimore City of Accessible Arts (BCAA) as they partner with the American Visionary Art Museum to spotlight AVAM's newest exhibition, Flaunt: When Appearance Speaks.
Enjoy light nibbles and an introduction from BCAA Leadership, then hear a Flaunt featured artist that identifies with the disability community and lives in the region. Finally, listen as AVAM Curator Gage Branda shares an overview of the concept of the exhibition and artists within it, as well as the many accessible features built into it. The convening will be held in AVAM's Jim Rouse Visionary Art Center, with sign language interpretation and a Zoom option provided.
Join an optional tour of the Flaunt exhibition afterwards with Gage Branda.
RSVP is strongly suggested and is through BCAA. Free to attend.
