About the Event
This interactive workshop, facilitated by Unique Robinson, is for writers and artists of all skill levels interested in the written word, and/or the pairing of text with image! All attendees will craft their own original poems, guided by the theme of “poetic self portraits”. Unique will provide writing prompts to choose from, followed by collage poster making, which will include excerpts, symbols, or themes from their writings. All materials for poster making will be provided. The last hour of the workshop allows room for workshop volunteers to share their writings and posters in an open mic/cypher style!
This workshop is for artists and writers of all levels, genres, and generations (ages 13 and up). Space is limited!
Cost: $15, $5 for teens
