Shadows of the Soul: A Self-Discovery Workshop

Join transdisciplinary artist HOPE McCorkle for a self-portrait workshop inspired by her recent solo exhibition “dancing with my shadows: a journey to self-discovery” at the Creative Alliance (Baltimore, MD). Through collage and journaling, blend art and self-reflection to explore and express your unique story in this meaningful experience.

Shadow work involves exploring and integrating the hidden, unconscious aspects of one's personality. Rooted in Jungian psychology, it delves into suppressed emotions and unresolved issues, fostering self-awareness and personal growth. By addressing and embracing the "shadow," individuals strive for wholeness, acceptance, and balance.
