Trash Art Play Shop with Miranda Ratner

You’re invited to the Trash Art Playshop! Channel your inner creative recycler and use old materials to create something new.

Making environmentally conscious art not only employs climate awareness but expands creative potential. Upcycled discarded waste offers limitless possibilities as art material. Using low stakes material softens creative expectations and evokes inspiration, taking the pressure off of the end result and opening up the gates to a flow state. Kids, parents, seasoned and beginner artists, come join Miranda for a Trash Art Playshop at the AVAM to explore and transform underestimated everyday materials into artistic treasures."

Fun for ages 5 and up. Bring your own interesting trash to use if you wish, but we will provide plenty.
