AVAM seeks part-time Security Associate. Flexible schedule (primarily weekends & events); some weekdays. Starting pay: $17/hr.
qualifications
Looking for a positive, dependable, quick learner. Must be able to regularly stand, walk and sit for extended periods. High School diploma or GED required. Two years minimum experience required. Background check required.
Primary duties:
Security of AVAM exhibitions and campus;
Monitor contractors, staff, and visitors in exhibition areas;
Enforce museum rules and follow security procedures;
Arm and disarm intrusion alarm as needed;
Provide documentation for incidents;
Follow emergency protocol if needed;
Provide excellent customer service to patrons. Answer questions about the exhibitions and facility.
