Through the generous support of Dan and Gloria Logan and their Revada Foundation, AVAM’s annual free conference of international experts this year focuses on the transformational power of love: for the earth, each other, oneself, and as applied to equitable economic systems.

1pm Introduction from Rebecca Hoffberger, Founder and Director, AVAM

1:05pm Stavros Lambrinidis Ambassador of The European Union to the United States, Yale Graduate, International Trade Lawyer, Human Rights Activist, former Foreign Affairs Minister Greece, twice-elected Member of The European Parliament where he has served as Vice- President, Lover of Humanity

1:20pm Hazel Henderson is perhaps the single greatest globally influential economist and thinker on the socially responsible investment movement and proponent of The Love/Golden Rule Economy. Henderson will provide a refreshing and persuasive deep dive on a total rethink of the money meme. She is the author of several books including Building A Win-Win World, Beyond Globalization, and The Axiom and Nautilus award-winning book Ethical Markets: Growing the Green Economy.

1:45pm Daryl Davis with his transformational love and patience, has inspired more than 200 KKK Klansmen to quit the Klan and gift him their robes. He will teach us from his experience of the alchemy of love in transmuting hate. He is also a past AVAM Grand Honoree.

2:05pm Wayne Jonas, MD Author, Researcher, practicing Family Physician, former Director NIH Alternative Medicine, former Director WHO Center Alternative Medicine, Clinical Professor Family Medicine Georgetown University, and Executive Director Samueli Foundation Integrative Health, will speak on loving compassion and self-care.
