AVAM is proud to present a special pre-release screening of Thumbs Up for Mother Universe: Stories from the Life of Lonnie Holley. Be among the first to see this award-winning feature documentary filmed over 25 years of self-taught artist and musician Holley’s life.
Register to see the film which will be viewable at any time during a nine-day window starting Friday March 4th at 6.00pm ET and ending Sunday 3/13 at 11:59 ET.

Holley is working on a wire sculpture during AfroPop, the Afro-Futurist festival held in a warehouse complex that included Holley’s studio.
