About the Event
Do you love making things move? Are you a hands-on learner who loves to tinker and experiment? Are you the last in your group to leave the Cabaret Mechanical Theatre exhibition?
Join Alex Vernon, local artist and AVAM's resident Automata Technician, for Intro to Automata in this amazing workshop! We'll cover the basics of kinetic sculpture mechanics by creating our own experimental pieces from cardboard and other simple materials. No prerequisite of mechanical knowledge necessary. Best for adults & children ages 10 and up.
