The restaurant on the top floor of the main museum building can seat up to 50 guests for dinner or 110 for a standing cocktail event. Ceremonies can take place outside on the terrace, or inside, on the museum’s marble staircase.

Main Building Staircase (Not Available Labor Day-2nd Week of Oct.)

Ceremonies on the sweeping marble staircase are illuminated by a grand skylight for a warm glow.

Guests can enjoy views of your ceremony from above and below.

Café + Sculpture Barn & Garden

Host your ceremony on the café terrace, spiral staircase, or garden, then: cocktails in the café and
reception in the Barn.

Rehearsal Dinner

Host your rehearsal dinner at the café. For weddings booked at AVAM, add this and enjoy a special rate.

RENTALS INCLUDE

The café can be rented for up to 4 hours plus 2 hours prior for set up and one hour after for breakdown and includes: tables and chairs; venue manager and museum security; and access to designated exhibits for all of your guests. Additional hours are $500/hr. Music is limited to background only. All events must start at or after 5pm, and conclude by 11pm (Fri & Sat) or 10pm (Sun-Thu). The cafe is not available on Mondays and Tuesdays. The staircase and the 2nd floor of our Main Museum Building are not available from Labor Day-2nd week of October.
